Students can join us at any age. From the youngest child at 2 wanting to just start out in a new sport/activity to adults that have started in their late 60's and have still earned their black belt.


Fitness
The principals of Taekwondo techniques are based on the design of your body. Power and speed are developed from the techniques used in training. As you progress you will learn to coordinate this speed and power, and develop a concentration to focus all of your body's strength into a small, hard striking surface like the edge of the hand or heel of the foot. 


Self Defense

When the speed and power developed through Taekwondo is used in a self-defense situation against the vulnerable parts of an attacker's body, the results can resolve uncertain situations. Learning these methods of self-defense allow you to feel confident against a much larger attacker. Knowing you can defend yourself will grow your self confidence, and that alone is usually enough to deter a potential attacker.  


Self-Confidence

Feel great about anything you do. The discipline that is inherent in martial arts and taekwondo will provide you with the self-confidence to attack everyday life. This is true for the youngest student in school to the adult with a career, family and everyday responsibilities.
